Robert Bess & Pamela Heath Interviews

The interview with Robert Bess this weekend was great! His spirit containment device has my mind reeling. My main interest in paranormal research is in spirit communication. Having a device like that that would allow people to see and communicate with spirits will open up a world of possibilities. Something like this would be invaluable to historians and the deceased's loved ones as well as to paranormal researchers. Personally, I would give my eye teeth to be able to use something like that to clearly see and talk to my dead husband's earthbound spirit again. I am going to have to redouble my efforts to get to the Psi-ence Fair so that I can see this in action.
I also was glad to hear him talk about the ethics of using something like that and the spirit degausser. I know some other inventors who are working on similar devices, and not all of them seem to grasp the concept that ghosts should be treated with the same respect you would give a living person. The ones that do are likewise being very cautious about doing thorough testing and making sure that they don't fall into the hands of people who would use it to torment or destroy non-malicious entities.
Also, thanks for having Pamela Heath back on to talk about suicide. Just within the past week, 2 of my friends lost loved ones to suicide. Anything that gets people to stop and think it through before taking such an extreme step could relieve a lot of suffering.
