Interview with Angela Vancea, Creative Designer/Owner of Indivisibilis
Interviewed by Paul Dale Roberts, HPI Esoteric Detective
Paranormal Hotline: (916) 203-7503
Question: Tell us something personal about yourself. What are your hobbies, recreational activities? What was your family life like? Schools? Movies you like, TV shows you like, books you like? What is your favorite song?
Answer: As far as hobbies go, I am interested in a lot of things, but some things that I continue to love through out time are art, gardening, sewing, walking, spending time in nature, and spending time with family and friends. I have a very diverse family life. But I am very thankful for each and every one of them and have grown to appreciate the experience (good or bad) and see them as a life learning opportunity and with their knowledge, they become tools that help me through my life today. I grew up here in California all my life and have lived from The Mojave Desert to the Redwoods. I have been in the Sacramento area for the majority of my life. I love it here because we are so close to so many beautiful places that is so easily accessible. I like an array of music and movies, but I find the most enjoyment from movies and songs that have an inspirational twist or show the human struggle with success. Some examples of movies I can watch over and over are Revolver, Stone, The Apostle, and Dances with Wolves, The Deer Hunter, and American History X. Some of my favorite singers and bands are Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, DMX, Metallica, Pink Floyd, but I really enjoy all kinds of music. I have not read tons of books, but some of my favorites are David Copperfield, Stephen King novels, and some Astrology books. I really like a book written by Vienna Stibal called Theta Healing, and I am one of those people who goes through the Bible on a consistent basis. The Bible is probably my favorite of all books, and I love to find all the goodness inside of it. I find it very inspirational. My favorite song at this moment is The Gambler by Kenny Rodgers…. Go figure. It just seems to really resonate with me right now.
Question: Tell me how you came up with the idea of creating Indivisibilis Meditation Cushions?
Answer: My very close friend whom I had worked with in a corporate job for many years had decided to go get her Yoga Certificate and once she had finished she had a real affinity with Yin Yoga, which is a very slow (long holding) style of Yoga. She is one of those amazing people who have a great passion for what she does and she felt that people of all sizes, shapes, builds should have an avenue to meet their goals. So she knew that I liked to sew for fun and asked me what I thought about making some props for the clients so that they could get in the positions without feeling self conscious or inadequate. So I started making them for her and her clients. She also teaches different kinds of amazing mediations and after going to her classes over time I could see the benefit in my mind body and spirit. I felt a deep passion for helping others and also for meditation, and this became my driving motivation for creating Indivisibilis.
Question: What does Indivisibilis mean? How did you come up with this name?
Answer: After much thought and reflection I chose the name Indivisibilis (which is the Latin term for indivisible). It means unable to be divided. Which I personally think is the key in my own life. I began asking myself “What are the things that keep me divided from my true self?”, and “What are the things that keep me divided from the God of my heart?” I believe that change begins with the inner self. I felt that this name was perfect for me and my little business.
Question: Why do you have such a passion for Meditation Cushions?
Answer: I love the fact that I get to be creative with fabrics, colors, textures, and also can include fabric painting on them. Additionally as mentioned before I began to grow to love the act of turning inward to find my true answers. Quieting my very active and anxious mind. Also I believe that this is a calling for me to help others find their way to meditation through a personalized cushion. It becomes an avenue they choose to explore for themselves.
Question: What value or purpose do your cushions have for people? Why would it benefit clients?
Answer: The cushions can be used for any purpose: Yoga or Meditation, or just something to chill out on. I think anything that brings you personal enjoyment in a healthy way. Plus I think the world may be a better place if more people turned inward and quieted their minds from their busy and complex schedules.
Question: You seem like you are very metaphysical. Is this a true evaluation?
Answer: Yes. I definitely am a believer. I believe that every person has a gift and a talent and all the modalities that are out there are an avenue. I have always been interested in the metaphysical realm. It is a reality for me.
Question: How did you get into meditation? Did you learn this here or some remote place like the Himalayans or some Tibet Monastery?
Answer: I began to Meditate thanks to my dear and close friend Melissa Leeson at Yucca Rising. I never meditated until a year or two ago, at least not consciously…..
Question: Since I am a paranormal investigator, I am going to ask you if you had any paranormal experiences.
Answer: Yes, I had many; it started at the age of 7. I think I would be classified as an intuitive. All my life I experienced other energies and ethereal beings. Some of the entities tried to interact with me. During the time I was a teenager, I tried to tell the entities to leave me alone. Now that I am older, I have more control of the situation and ever once in awhile I will hear a message that seems to come from afar. I will now tell you via You Tube, one of my main experiences:

Question: Okay, you told me some other cool paranormal experiences you had, they are good stories, and can you please elaborate, before we close this interview?
Answer: There have been so many throughout the years. I have lived in a few different houses where I have seen shadows, heard voices and felt very uncomfortable. Another very memorable experience was when I was at a friend’s house and we were all gathered in the living room and I saw a full size shadow man move from the front door down the hallway once and he noticed I saw him. Later I told my friends and they too had seen him many times and knew that he was at their home. Also when I had gone back to visit my childhood home after it had been burnt down and abandoned for many years I found the old house number sign laying on the ground. I had decided to keep it as a memento and brought it back to my then current residence. I had placed it on my front porch and a few weeks later in the middle of the night I was awakened by the sound of the doorbell ringing. I was alarmed at first and went to the front door to see who it was. As I looked through the peep hole I noticed no one was there, but all I could see was that number sign sitting in the planter. It shot fear though me as I saw it. I knew that I had possibly brought something back with me, from my childhood home. I knew I didn’t want to open the door because I felt like I might let it in again. So the next morning I went outside and grabbed the sign and directly drove it to a large dumpster behind a local mall. I knew I had to get it far away from me, my home and family. I never had another experience of that kind since then. I still feel energies and see movements but I really try to have control and own my space in this world. I understand that there are energies all around us at all times, but at some point I had to learn how to filter and manage the experience around me.
Question: Well, thank you for this wonderful interview. Do you have a website where people can see your product?
Question: How can people contact you?
Or 916 942 9665
Question: Fun question – if you had 6 dinner guests, 3 fictional and 3 historical, who would they be?
Answer: OK – LOL!! Three fictional would be Glenda the Good Witch, Tom Sawyer, and David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. Three historical would be Martin Luther King, Ghandi, and Moses.
Question: Thank you for this wonderful interview, is there any words of wisdom you would like to tell your readers?
Answer: Thank you so much Paul for spending time with me tonight, listening to my stories and providing me with this unique experience. I really appreciate it. I think that if I had any closing words I would like to say that each individual person has a unique and beautiful gift to give to the world. Many times the answers we are seeking are within ourselves if we just quiet our minds and listen. Lastly love is the answer, and be kind to yourselves.
