Ok I am going to save you time and money, this movie is crap. avoid it at all cost. They completely ignore 90% of what made the 2002 "A Haunting in Connecticut" documentary creepy as hell and all we are left with is cheap scares and a bunch of lies.

I have meet John Zaffis twice, he was the demonologist on the original case and he knows the family very well, I am sure he is pi$$ed at this garbage.

What sad times are these when a made for tv movie on a shoe string budget is better than a big Hollywood production.

Well Hollywood got me again...will I ever learnhuh?

I hear ya. I went and saw the movie, and it wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't seen the Discovery documentary, but I had. They made the movie less scary than it could have been, by the nature of having ghosts haunting the place and not a demonic entity.

Half the stuff in the movie was either untrue or twisted to Hollywood's liking. If they had made it based on the chilling documentary on Discovery (the pilot episode of 'A Haunting'), it would have come out much better. The stuff towards the end were simply not believable, with the dead bodies in the walls and Matt setting fire to the place.

On the 04-04-09 episode of Darkness Radio Dave said that in order to keep the PG-13 rating they were not allowed to mention DEMONS what kind of BS is that?? Hollywood sux. The should have said screw the PG-13 rating and went for the "R" and actually made a good movie.

The first thing I did when I got home from this movie was order the 2002 Documentary on DVD!!
