The Cave- Good beginning, beautiful cave, overrated movie trailers, unrealistic dives and breathholding. Can't help but wonder if the same people that created "The Relic" played a role in this one, as you never really get to see the creature that devours numerous people. Is it a demon like the mosaic states? A huge albino vampire bat? Or a human that morphed due to the parasite? Keeps ya guessing!...Partically thumbs up/thumbs down.

War of the Worlds- Classic radio show made movie with some added twists. Very realistic, very well planned, relentless aliens..Big thumbs Up!

The Island- Cloning gone mad. Classic paranoid theory that cloning will turn this direction and done in an "underground way". Clones find out who/what they really are. Non-stop action, intense suspense, edge of your seat. Big Thumbs Up!

The Skeleton Key- The classic tale revived. Glimpse into the world of Hoodoo and everlasting life. Ages old issue "curiosity killed the cat" Keeps you guessing to the end. Thumbs Up!

Anyone see "Dark Waters"?

The Skeleton Key- Sheila I am going to have to agree with you on this one. It was a good movie with good plot twists. However the detail orientated viewer should be able to spot a few things here and there that would let them to the right conclusion. Two thumbs up!

Hi Sheena, yes it was a good flick, threw me off a bit though. It didn't end like I thought it was going to.

grin grin Remember guys to post your own movie reviews, I love horror, sci-fi, etc. flicks, so if you have seen one that is not posted here...please feel free to give your review of the movie grin grin

FlightPlan---This is one of the better suspense movies I've watched in a long time. I could definately feel her intense emotions as she was desperately trying to find her daughter or find out what happened to her daughter. Keeps you guessing to the end! This is a very good flick grin

The Brothers Grimm- Ok so this movie doesn't really fit into the category but o well. I mean it’s sorta about paranormal investigators. I was kinda let down by this movie but that is probably because there was such a build up for me. I went to the video store literally 7 times just to rent this movie. And each time I went all the copies were rented out. While I was watching this movie I never had the urge to turn it off but if I had to pause it to go to the bathroom I wouldn’t have been upset either. It wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst.

Just watched The Fog last night- it sort of had a slow beginning. The graphics in the show are pretty good, I really liked the ghosts...and I really enjoyed that little "reincarnation" twist at the end of the movie, was not expecting that at all! Overall it definately kept your attention once the movie really got going and it made you want to find out more. I never watched the original "Fog" so this was new for me.

"The Visitation"

Seemed just a tad lower budget filmed, at least in the beginning part of the movie. This is a very freaky supernatural suspense movie about demons, a man that performs miracles. It will leave you with that WTF feeling at the end of watching it. It's really freaky. shocked

Ok, I definately must be tuned into a "demon movie" week, cuz I just finished watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose. This is a really good movie with a lot to take in and consider, based upon a true story. Emily's prediction was that her death would make a big impact upon many ppl's lives and through the publishings, articles, and the movie itself, it leaves little doubt that what she believed was real. You need to watch this flick...unlike many of the Hollywood made up stories, this real story leaves an impact on you.

War of the Worlds
The Island
The Skeleton Key

I really enjoyed all of these movies.

War of the Worlds, I just watched again the other night. I swear every time I watch it, it still scares the crap out of me. Most alien movies like that do. shocked
