Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Much like what is going on in the world today.

Mine would be Night of the Living Dead. Still the best and most inventive way to make a social statement, all the while entertaining people and introducing one of the most beloved monsters in all of moviedom:ZOMBIES!!!

There coming to get you Barbara.....

Well I have a lot of favorite horror movies, but the one that scared the living sh*t out of me was the Exorcist.

My current Favorite is the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Sort of Law and Order meets the Exorcist. Love it !!!
And yea the Exorcist did it for me too, to date it is the only movie that has EVER given me bad dreams, gotta love that, right?

I can't say it's my favorite, but it sure is does stick with me as far as being scary...Audrey Rose. I still can't watch the movie even if it's noon and the sun is shining, unless my husband watches it with me.

Now to answer the question of fave horror movie.
I would have to say, Night of the Living Dead.

I think it was so amazing and stark and creepy. It really had an impact on me. I still wont live within a mile of a cemetary and trust me, when they do attack, I will be ready....oh yeah, thats it, mock me......Dont come banging on my door when you arent prepared.....LOL.

I liked a recent movie I saw "Hostel"...go see it!! The only thing is its NOT for viewers under 17. Most of the first part of the movie is about sex, BUT other than that the movie is really good. It's based on a true story, it's about these teens that decides to backpack across Europe and all they want to do is party and have sex with chicks, with one guy tells them about this town that doesn't have much men in it and these girls loves to have sex with American men so like the horney guys that they are they go and......

I'm not telling you the rest...YOU GOT TO GO SEE IT grin grin

you know, it's a goofy movie, but "pumpkinhead" still has to be one of my favorites. the dialog is actually pretty good, and the swamp witch is excellent.

the whole premise of revenge being something that costs you also intrigued me. it's actually a really good flick.

that, and the pumpkinhead monster truely scared the crap out of me. seriously.

good times.

I don't really have one. I find them all unscarey. But if I had to give one I would say Darkness or White Noise. Both were good and I jumped atleast once.

The one that scared the crap out of me was "Rosemary's Baby". Made the big mistake of watching when I was about 7 months pregnant with my daughter. Talk about weird dreams.lol.

Night Of The Living Dead is probably one of the best horror films ever written. The dialogue is so descriptive you could take the script and turn it into a stage play (I thought of doing that in college, but I was too lazy). The Japanese film Ju-On (the movie The Grudge was a remake of) scared the crap out of me. One scene made me go white.

Zombies scare the S**T out of me and I refuse to watch them after seeing Night of the Living Dead when I was 19. I went to a midnight movie showing and was oh shall we say a bit sauced. Even at that, it scared the hell out of me.

I can take ghosts, vampires, werewolves, bigfoot, and aliens. I can't take zombies!!!

EEK! shocked

I have different favorites. Out of all the Zombie movies, that would be, "Dawn of the Dead." Ghostly movies would be, "An American Haunting." As for slice and dice that would be all the "Halloween" movies. That is just a few to mention.
