xx Comments about picture evidence.
« Thread started on: Dec 26th, 2005, 4:42pm »

Please keep your comments about the photographic evidence here. Keep it civil and polite. No flaming or bashing will be tolerated. This is a place to share and help each other, making fun and picking on things does not accomplish a thing.

Thanks.

Scott, I really found your photo facinating. The brilliant color of the orb moving fast or ectoglob tells me that it is supercharged. I didn't see the face the first time I was looking at, but now I clearly see what looks to be eyes, nose, and mouth in the pic. Very neat photo!

Hi Robin, I was finally able to view your video footage, had to do things in a roundabout way to get to it, but it finally worked.

I watched it several times and its interesting how the object just suddenly is so bright in the low light that you guys were in, in that room, and something on it moves. I tried to reduce the speed of my player to try to do a frame by frame, but it wouldn't let me.

It does resemble a small orb moving fast with contrails. The picture that you took on your camera was it taken at that object and does it look the same as the video?

Not sure what this looks like other than 2 alien fingers. cheesy Doesn't looks like an orb to me. The photos and video I've seen of orbs are more glowey (there's a word for ya). Could this be ectoplasm? You saw nothing while filming? Hmmm. Scratching my head over this one. Maybe you could PM Jason or Grant, give them the link and see what they say.

We are going back this weekend for a followup investigation at the La Purisima Mission. There is a good comment section on this video on the TAPS board. It's called Video Anomoly.

Some members have freeze framed it and posted the photos there. We are going to do a day investigation this time. I hope to get day shots of where we took this video. It was ouside and not inside a room. I'm still scratching my head over this one.

Thanks Robin. I'll head over and check it out.

Debbie

Did they put in photo section?

Well I have to say that I have no idea what it is Robin. I tried pausing it to see how it looked but still no idea. I don't think it looks like a bug though. It didn't appear to be fluttering. You could drive tourself crazy trying to figure out that one. grin

We just got back from the trip to La Purisima Mission. We did a day investigation and another night visit to the site. We will be going over the photos and video this week. From our initial visit, I can tell you a couple of strange things happened at the night investigation. Two of our members heard footsteps when we were stopped. We saw no one around us. We were the only people at the mission. We would have known if anyone else was around. Also, one member experienced some physical manifestations of sharp, intense stomach pains and eyes watering for no reason along the same location we had originally caught the anomoly. We stopped and waited a couple of minutes later, he was fine. We had a door move on its own. It was first seen out the corner of an eye, and I am not sure we if caught it on film or not. There was a slight breeze that night. Maybe it was the wind. Maybe it wasn't. Can't explain it for sure. After doing the day investigations, I believe we nailed down the location of the video anomoly. I will be reviewing our older footage to the newer footage and try my best to confirm it. Also, we experienced equipment malfuntion that was unexplainable. The digital voice recorder wouldn't work properly at the site, <it died right at the spot where the temperature drop happened, but worked fine later.> I had to replace both the batteries in two pieces of equipment that had brand new batteries in them. I had to replace batteries in my digital camera twice that day. Each time it had fresh, brand new batteries.

BTW, in regards to the bell, which I got both day and night photos of, it is located at the opposite end of the building where we caught the anomoly. And the bell has no clapper in it at all. We had average temperatures at night throughout the whole investigation (49-54 degrees) until we came up to the end of the building where the anomoly had originally happened. As we went around the corner and headed to the backside of the building we had a temperature drop of 50 degrees. When we aimed a foot to the right side, it went back up to 50 degrees, aimed back at the spot and it dropped to 0 degrees. When aimed to the left of the spot, it went up to 50 degrees. Aimed at the center spot, it was 0 degrees. Then a minute later, it went back to 50. Whatever it was moved on. I took photos, but I have no idea if we caught anything.

I will do my best to review evidence and post what I can. I can recommend this mission to investigate, but with a word of caution. Late at night, we had no moonlight, and there were no lights around the building and it was dangerous. What concerned me is this mission keeps live chickens, turkeys and other animals. Mountain lions and cougar signs were around the site to warn people walking their dogs. When investigating a site such as this, please be extra careful. You might not be the bait for the mountain lion who is seeking a bite of chicken, but it could be very dangerous for you to get in the way. It's not only people, dead and alive, you need to be concerned about when investigating, but also the animal element. Really know the area you are investigating and be aware of the dangers and act accordingly.

I will touch base with you guys, after I review the evidence.

That's very exciting. I'm eagerly awaiting your findings. I can't wait until I am able to get out and do an investigation!!

Hi Brenna! I really liked that shot of yours. You know what's interesting about the Braveheart thing..is that "Longshanks" who was responsible for Mel Gibson's (Braveheart) character's death was my 13th great-grandfather. Glad Longshanks wasn't around in my time..ruthless man, he'd be rolling in his grave to find out his great decendants were rooting for Braveheart! grin

LOL Sheila. It would serve him right to roll in his grave. I loved that movie. Glad his wife came to take him to the other side. I hated that he had to die at the end though. cry

I know, I cried so hard the first time I watched that movie and his character died at the end...but loved that his wife came to be with him at that point in time. I still love the quote from him in that movie "Every man dies, but not every man truly lives"....how true it is. grin

I'd never seen that movie until the other night. I'm sorry I waited so long. That's like The Patriot. I never watched until about a month ago. I didn't think it would be my kind of movie. I loved it. I need to get out of that habit. wink
