As many of you may know, while President Obama was being sworn in on Tuesday, there were massive layoffs at Clear Channel. 7% of the work force nationally or 1,850 people lost their jobs as a result of the state of our economy. Unfortunately, without going into details, I was one of those casualties.
So there is good news and bad news. The good news is that Dave and I own the show, so there is a possibility that I will be back with the show in some capacity. The bad news is, for this weekend at least, I am not on the show. We are checking into if and how I can be reworked into the show.
Also, I implore you to please NOT contact Dave or Clear Channel, on the local or national level about this matter. Things are very touchy right now. I am not looking to stir up any storms, I am simply putting out this blog to let you know that you will not hear me on the show this weekend, but I will be in our chat room during the show. Both Dave and our Program Director are agonizing over this situation, but cannot say anything about the situation, either in a statement or on-air, as it is against Clear Channel regulations to talk about layoffs or details relating to them.
This is far from the end of Tim on Darkness Radio, just a bump in the road. Please be patient, and I will keep you updated.

I wish I would've seen this post before I made the one I've now deleted... I'm such a maroon.
I hope we get more Tim (Tim back) in the future.

Yeah, I miss Timmy to. I've been a listener since they first started doing the show and it's still weird not to hear Timmy chiming in on something.
Guess thats how it goes though, things change. Wont even get into how I cringe having to hear the Hannity and Rush promo's now. 
And I wish they would hurry up and get the podcast for this weekends shows up!

I miss Tim's laugh but I willl respect his wishes. Tim you are appreciated, and well liked on the show. Good luck in what ever you do, and know we want you back
